How does Trendz work?

Trendz uses Google Hot Trends, a compendium of the most popular searches of the moment. Hot Trends filters out the most common searches overall (for example, “weather”), and emphasizes the trends that have sudden surges in popularity. Google analyzes millions of web searches, finding those that have the sharpest rise compared to their normal occurrences.

This list of trends is updated about every hour. Spam and inappropriate material is filtered out.

When you tap on a trend, your are asked if you want to search for the item on the web, add the item to your list of bookmarks to come back to later, or show Google’s analysis of the item along with related links.

Why is Trendz only sold in the United States?

Currently we only support English and the Google search analysis in the United States.
